What Causes Redness On Stretch Mark?

I notice 2 days ago that on my lower left abdomen I felt what seemed to be something hard right underneath a stretch mark. Today I noticed that it looks like the stretch mark is red hurts to touch and almost looks like what ever it is underneath is trying to come out. I have had stiches in the past come out about a year after I delivered. I have three children and this just seems to be odd.

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

New stretch marks can appear bright red at first.
This is due to the stretching of the surface of your skin, and the color is only temporary.
After a while, the stretch marks will fade over time, eventually turning into light pink or white.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
