Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sir i am suffering from redness problem that appears suddenly on my cheeks and then disappears on its own...m doing lot of treatments for this but no response is there..and whatever the season is..it doesn t matter..it appears in day as well as night ....anytime it may appears and goes on its own and m so confused with it as no doctor is able to recognize this problem
As per your query you have redness on the cheeks which can be most probably due to allergic reaction only that can be due to Contact dermatitis caused by any skin cosmetic, bug bite, soaps etc. Food allergies can also be a cause. As of now you can take anti allergics like Benadryl and do cool compresses to relieve the symptoms. I would suggest you to consult an dermatologist and get evaluated. Once the cause of allergy is ruled out avoiding exposure to the allergen can relieve the symptoms. Apply cold compresses on affected area to reduce redness.
Hope your concern has been resolved .
