Taking prednisone and amoxicillin With clav ? X 5 days for upper respiratory infection with severe cough. Does this contain codeine? Think I m having an allergic reaction Severe cough brought on sharp pain in both hands and up to elbows. Thought it was spasms from bad cough. Heart rate normal. Feel nauseous. Cough stopped. Nausea, red face may be due to Prednisolone and Amox + Clav. Once you stop meds it should go.
Please consult your treating doctor how long to continue prednisolone as one should not take Prednisolone on his own, it being steroid.
Observe pain if it reduces with reduction in coughing.
