What Causes Redness, Swelling And Pain In Injection Site After Flu Vaccination?
I received my vaccination for the flu and pneumonia yesterday. after about four hours I started feeling ill, sneezing, horse, temp of 101. It lasted about 12 hours. Now I have redness, swelling, pain to the touch and heat at the location of the injection site. could I have cellulitis?
Slight pain, redness ans swelling at injection site is common after vaccination.Paracemol tablets may help reduce the symotoms.Cold compresses may also help. The symptoms are a result of flu like symptoms that occur following vaccination. However if the symptoms do not subside or pain and fever increases you must consult your doctor. Regards
