For the last several months, I have experienced the skin from within my eyelid peeling and causing severe redness to my eye. This does occur in both eyes. However, much more severely and more often in my left eye than my right. My eye is obviously irritated by this, and so, I have no choice but to remove the skin with a q-tip or simply apply a damp towel to the eye. As well as this, I have tried several brands of eye drops, including saline solution, moisturising and also antibiotic drops. However, none of these attempts have done any good. In fact I fear it may have worsened the issue. I have been told by a doctor, that I am most likely suffering with conjunctivitis. However, conjunctivitis is contagious, and I have been suffering with this for several months. Yet, none of my other four house mates have been even slightly affected by this or suffered with any thing similar for that matter. Having struggled with this for around six months now, on an almost daily basis, I have decided to confide in the internet. As this problem is seriously affecting my work, and as I m sure, has already affected my vision, I hope to be able to find an answer here.
