What Causes Redness With Rashes And Blotches On Face And Tongue?

What ,besides an allergy, might cause sudden swelling of all of face and tongue and cause difficulty breathing and redness with rash and large skin blotches? Most recently an epi-pen improved breathing but caused face to pale under the rash and blotches.

This sounds like an anaphylactic reaction which is again an extreme form of allergy. Epi-pen is the treatment for this disorder. Additionally antihistamines and steroids may help. It does not sound like anything else. Take care.
