I had a myomectomy (bikini cut) on the 28th day of Feb 2015.my first period came 2 weeks after the surgery and was normal. Subsequent ones were very scanty and lasted for 3days. My last period was on 4/7/15.it was scanty and lasted for 2days. Have been worried about this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Myomectomy is removal of fibroid uterus so after myomectomy, excess bleed due to fibroid is reduced. Loss of endometrium during the procedure can cause it. Scanty bleeding after few years of the surgery can not be attributed to surgery itself, it can be hormonal imbalance due to other causes. To get the tension out, you can get investigated and search for the cause.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
