What Causes Reduction In Amount Of Amniotic Fluid During Pregnancy?

Hi its neha from India.My 9th month has started n my doctor told me after observing my ultra sound that there is very less water in my oval,due to which we ll have to do pre delivery?I am unable to get the reason how there is less water as I drink 7-8 glass water daily?n can I know the gender of my baby with the help of any sign?

it is not possible to know the gender by any signs as far as science is considered.tthere is no connection between ur water intake and liquor quantity in sac. liquor comes mainly from fetal urine which is dependent on placental function. if by any chance the placental function is decreased the liquor is decreased.
