What Causes Regular Menstruation Despite Implanon Being Present?

My implanon expired in May 2014 and I have recently gotten my period. My husband and I would like to have another baby. I haven t had the implanon removed yet. But the fact that my menstrual cycle is becoming normal again makes me think we can start trying, right? What are the chances of conceiving now? What will happen to my hormones once the implanon is removed?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Implanon implant should be removed before planning pregnancy, as it may interfere with the hormone levels of the body and can create difficulties in conception.
Once implant is removed, the hormonal levels revert back to normal in nex t 2-3 months.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
