What Causes Renewed Body Itching With ICP, Gestational Diabetes During A Pregnancy?
hi doctor I am 31 weeks pregnant and diagonised with ICP and gestational diabetes. I have been taking ursocol SR 450 mg for the last two weeks and the itching had reduced considerably. But off late in the last 2 to 3 days the itching has ncreased to such an extent that am not able to sleep.My SGOT and SGPT levels are in range. How is it still that am getting itching all over again??

Itching is because Of bilirubin Bound to the tissues. Even if ur labs are normal,it will take time for your tissue Bound bilirubin to go. Thus the itching can continue for a while
