What Causes Repeated Episodes Of Nausea,headaches,loss Of Appetite And Sore Throat?

my son has been experincing this for almost a year now...every 3 weeks or so he gets nausea, headaches, no vomiting, no darrhea, slight loss of appetite(is still hungry), he sleeps longer,sometimes with a sore throat, loss of energy. He has been tested for strep, flu, and mono, all coming up negatives. Any help would be appreciated.

This could be many things - even food allergy. He should keep a diary of his symptoms along with what/when he eats, physical activity, stress, etc.
