Hello dear
Understand your concern
In some case or in advanced pregnancy there may be chance of post abortion residue if it is done under the unexpert hand in septic condition. So it cause prolonged bleeding after the abortion. Please consult the gynecologist for its treatment. It can be removed by drug misoprostol vaginally/orally or also by the surgical procedure like D & C. But do not try the medicine at home as its cause excessive bleeding. Maintain pelvic hygiene, change your pad regularly, proper rest with healthy diet and iron supplements, analgesic, check for foul smelling to prevent infections.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
