What Causes Restlessness From Hip To Knee After Hip Replacement?

HELP...my legs are so restless all day. I feel the need to squeeze my butt together and move my legs around. The restlessness is usually from my hip to my knees. I have had 8 hip surgeries on the left (an osteotomy for 45 years), and replaced hip Dec., 2007...the restlessness started after the hip replacement (and knee replacement on left May 2007). Sometimes I think it could have been from the epidurals they gave me. What can I do? It's driving me crazy.........
