What Causes Restricted Movement In The Middle Finger?

Hello, The middle finger on my right hand started to lock up in a bent position on a daily basis about 4 weeks ago. Prior to that is was random. For the last week or so, ROM of my finger had decreased significantly and has become increasingly painful to straighten out completely. I do work on a computer M-F but typing has not been an issue. January 29, 2015 I did have carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. Thank you, Nancy

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a part of local inflammation or contusion.

As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
