What Causes Retrolisthesis Of Spine Post Hip Replacement Surgery?
I have severe DDD and had a laminectomy from L1-L4. I had my hip replaced 9 months after and it popped out of place 2 times due to being retroverted and off by a centimeter at the lower end of the cup. I am now having problems with an L1-L2 Retrolystesis grade 1 and a grade 2 retrolystesis at L5-S1. What are the treatment options for me in this case?
Reconsideration of surgery is the best option. However, depending upon the age, co morbid conditions, life expectancy, pros and cons of surgery are various vivid factors to be considered for the same. Trial therapy with: - Assisted physiotherapy - Best analgesic and anti inflammatory molecules as per the age and renal function - Pain management with spinal epidural shots - Control of blood calcium and phosphorus homeostasis
