What Causes Rheumatoid Arthritis To Flare Up All Over The Body?

I recently lowered my bp meds to half my usual dose. My GP has monitored my bp and it is doing fine. Would this cause a RA flareup almost all over my body? I felt more energy lowering the bp meds and the GP said because I now have more blood flow to my body and brain. I was a little more active with the energy but I don t think it was enough to cause such a widespread flareup. I will see my RA dr. asap but I think all he can do is give me pain pills, which I don t want. I have been using Enbrel for over 10 years.

Hi,

Tapering a BP medicine, does not cause increased circulation to the tissues of the body and it is not responsible for possible flare up of the rheumatoid arthritis, which is an inflammatory response.
