What Causes Rib Pain With Discomfort?

i've had a stitch-like pain under my right side rib and feels uncomfortable several times a day, especially when i'm sitting. what could this be? i have 4 very small cysts in my liver(since birth) which were found about a year ago, does this have anything to do with it?
