What Causes Rib Tenderness And Lump With Suspected Pleurisy?
I was diagnosed with suspected pleurisy 2 weeks ago. I now have incredibly tender ribs - 7/8 on right side - and a mass over the top of it. I m 46 and have an autoimmune disease suspected to be behcets. Advice? Obviously I m worried its something nefarious...

If it is a bony hard mass, it could be Giant cell tumor or Osteoma. I advice you not to worry, but get the mass examined by your Surgeon to allay your fears.
