What Causes Right Hip Pain While Sleeping?

I have pain, especially when sleeping at night in my right buttock/hip area that sometimes goes down my leg like a tight muscle. When I walk a little the same may occur but not as strong. Could this be sciatica? Should I put heat or ice pack on pain spot

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, by the way you are describing your pain, possibility of sciatica is more.
So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and x ray of lumber spine.
Limb physiotherapy is best for sciatica.
Weight reduction (if obese) will also help.
Application of warm water pad and ice packs alternatively is also recommended.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
