What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain After Hysterectomy?

I just had a hysterectomy 7 days ago. I keep reading stuff. Like dont sleep on ur stomache. Dont climb stairs. Dont bend over. Etc. My dr just told me to take it easy. The nurse said shower not bath. I looked through my diacharge papers 3x and i cant find the info im lookong for. My righy side hurts more then mu left. I really havent done anything but get up to eat or pee. I do have stairs but only 6. And i do go down then up them 1x a day. I sleep alot. And i love sleeping on my stomache. Im not hurtung bad n i move freely. I geuss should i be proping my legs uo or take it slow when i move. Lay on back. Ice my belly. ??? I had the da vinci

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, there can be various issues of one side abdomen pain after hysterectomy by Da Vinci technique as:
- Residual collection in paracolic gutter region of right side
- Vascular clip pulling pain as it is the time to get it fibrosed by around a period of one week
- Fine filmy adhesions
- Intestine colic related to constipation
- Other issues

However, after primary relieving agents as anti spasmodic, antibiotics as per the need of the case, I would follow up the patient with pain score evaluation and if required, will order an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis.
