What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain?

Good mornning, I have been having abdominal pain on the right side. Did an ultra sound and all shows normal kidney, gall bladder, spleen, liver prostate gland but the pain is still there and sometimes on top of the naval. Could you please tell me is this severe case of gastroenteritis or colitis I also have difficulty in passing stool Thank you

Hello,

Ultrasound may not detect small lesion. You can opt for a CECT abdomen to get a better picture. A colonoscopy may also be required. Consult a gastroenterologist and he will direct you accordingly.
