What Causes Right Sided Headache And Soreness In Throat And Jaw?

I've had the flu in as many months I've gone to my doctor and I got my bloods taking which all came back good but now I feel like I'm coming down with something again. I have headaches my right side of my jaw is sore for the last couple of weeks I'm getting a sore throat. I'm in my thirties and think there might be a wisdom tooth coming through can these symptoms be associated with that or do I need to go back to my doctor to get more checks done and if so what would you recommend asking?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that right sided headache, sore jaw and sore throat are all evident during inflamed gum flap over the gum flap when there is a partially erupted or erupting wisdom tooth..

Sore throat occurs during Pericoronitis due to inflammation in throat that progresses from the wisdom tooth site to the throat due to close proximity of throat and wisdom tooth..

I would therefore suggest you to consult a Dentist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, betadine gargles, and warm saline gargles..

In case if it recurs removal of the offending gum flap or wisdom tooth extraction can be advised..
