What Causes Right Sided Pain Despite Having Growth On Cervix?
hi, I have alot of right sided pain, it started out feeling like sharp aching pain, I went to the Dr. to find out they it was not appendicitis via catscan, they beleived it was ovarian cysts. I then had an ultra sound later, to find I still have the cysts. I went to see an ob-gyn who then proceeded to find my cysts were gone but he found some sort of growth probably scar tissue with a puss pocket where my cervix used to be. I had a partial hysterectemy over 10 years ago. He sends me on my way says I m fine, no concerns now. But I am still in pain, still have this weird thing in me. The pain is NOT constant but happens frequently. Should I get a second opinion. Could it be something else? feeling kinda helpless.
hi healthcare magic user, most common cause for pain on right side is due to appendicitis or ovarian cyst.In your case since both are ruled out with sonogram I would suggest you go for blood test called complete blood count, local examination from surgeon to rule out appendicitis . you can take second opinion to rule out cyst, see if their is pus pocket in cervix their possibility of adhnexal (that is tubes and parametric my) infection .
