I am having butt pain on right side for about 2 months. Lower back is fine. Symptons similar to prior experience where wallet in back pocket caused pain witch went away once I moved wallet to front pocket. Question : Is this butt pain different sciatica pain ? Will exercise and massage reduce symptoms ? Thanks Brian

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to Piriformis syndrome is a condition in which the piriformis muscle. I suggest using Diclofenac ointment apply locally. I also suggest you non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication 2 times a day. Stretching exercise may also help.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
