What Causes Right-sided Swelling And Tenderness In The Neck After Vomiting?
After a difficult vomiting session, that lasted about 7 hours, my neck and jaw have become swollen and tender to the touch (but only on the right side). Swallowing is uncomfortable, though not as bad as a usual throat infection. There is a hard lump on my neck near the throat or esophagus as well. Is this cause for serious concern? Or are these signs of strain and pulled muscles?

there are 2 differential diagnosis based on your symptoms-
1. MENINGITIS
2. MUSCLE SPASM
for meningitis you should definitely go and visit a doctor bcz meningitis cant be diagnosed online here.
for muscle spasm, you can take
Tab. flexion MR 1 tab BD. for 5 days.
i would suggest you to avoid taking a risk and go to the hospital
