What Causes Right Tonsil To Be Swollen?

My right tonsil has been swollen for about a year now. There is no pain or discomfort when swallowing or breathing, and there doesn't seem to be any discoloration. It seems to be quite swollen though when compared to the left tonsil. What could be the cause of this?

hi,
tonsils can be of unequal size normally.
nothing to worry, you can get yourself evaluated once by an ENT doctor.
