What Causes Right Upper Quadrant Pain Despite A Normal CAT Scan Report?

Went to emergency room with a pain in liver area and around my back under lung, my skin is numb, itchy,and have a rash, I was given ,X-ray,sonogram and catscan, they found nothing,over heard nurse say liver a little fatty,is it possible to have little fat on liver? Have had this problem for over month. Was treated as thought I wasted their time said there is no reason for pain, your thoughts please

Hello,

It might be a temporary viral infection or skin allergic inflammation that might lead to redness and pain. Now if you don't have rash or pain then don't worry.

Your CT scan report also normal according to history, so don't worry about that.

The fatty liver could not present with mentioned symptoms. Fatty liver common condition nowadays due to excess fat intake. Life style modification beneficial for that.
