In many people, tinnitus is caused by one of these conditions: 1.Age-related hearing loss. For many people, hearing worsens with age, usually starting around age 60 2.Exposure to loud noise. Loud noises, such as those from heavy equipment, chain saws and firearms 3.Earwax blockage.. 4. MANY INNER EAR DISEASES..MENIERS,... the list goes on.... but if it is not associated with hearing loss, loss of balance or giddiness, blurring of vision...and comes only when exposed to loud noses .. nothing to worry ... even a common cold and ear wax can cause this ringing sensation... if symptoms persist i suggest you to visit your ENT doctor have a check up and audiological evaluation will help you.... get well soon.............
