I was playing dodgeball the on Friday and I got hit very hard in the right ear. My ear started ringing and I felt like I could not hear out of it. I felt as if I were going to pass out. It is still ringing, and very uncomfortable, especially when I shower. What do you think this is?

hello, thanks for your query, blunt truma over ear followed by ringing , loss of hearing indicates that there is an injury to to ur hearing system , it could be tympanic membrane rupture, ossicular distruption or hair cells injury in inner ear. it can be ruled out by audiometry and ent examination. kindly visit an ent surgeon for farther evaluation and treatment. all d best. take care.
