What Causes Rise In BP Level Followed By Heart Blockage In An Elderly Person?

Im a dentist...saw an elderly type 2 diabetic man today for cleaning. When he got up to leave he was light headed, nauseous, and sweaty. We checked his blood sugar...186. BP was elevated slightly...systolic around 155, diastolic normal. We gave him oxygen. He got worse. Still throwing up. No other change. Called the EMS...they did a twelve lead on his heart and notices some second stage heart blockage. My question....does this sound like a cardiac episode to you? They took him to the hospital

HI
Well come to HMC
I really appreciate your concern, yes of course this could be cardiac even if the EKG is suggestive of some cardiac block because this could be associated with ischemia or valvular lesion needs ECHO, hope this information helps, take care
