What Causes Rise In Creatinine Level After Suffering From Blood Loss Due To Injury?

My creatinine was slightly elevated. All other bloodwork, enzymes, lipids, profile etc are normal and my doctor says he is not concerned. I did have a crushing injury to my foot 2 weeks prior to test with some blood loss. Would this affect test? Should - seek another opinion? Otherwise previous annual creatine tests were always normal. I am 61 years old.
