What Causes Rise In Heart Rate And Burning Sensation In Vagina While On Amitriptyline?
I have been on Anitriptiline for over 10yrsnat 100mg now my dr put me on 25mg I want to run tell I run head on into a brick wall. I suffer from sever health problems Lupus CNS, heart attack, stroke, Pheocromocytoma L Adrenal gland removed in 98 with 1/2left kidney. Damaged pancrease with large pseudo cyst 65 days in hospital. Creon theory after two days nothing then 25mg last night my symptoms are alover. Fast heart sweats burning vaginal area, psycgo, no help please I don t know what to do.
1.Amitriptylline is usually prescribed for depression,neuropathic pain and for prophylaxis of Migraine.
2. Tachycardia, confusion, conduction disturbances, tremors,arrhythmia are some ADR (adverse drug reaction) of the drug and if you are experiencing the same consult with a Cardiologist whose opinion is more important than general/attending physician at this moment.
PS. If you are taking any other hypnotic/ sesative they increase the serum level of amitriptylline and its effects.
