What Causes Rise In Heart Rate?

I woke several times during the night with very rapid heart rates, dizzy, heavy breathing. I have been taking Savella for fibromyalgia and noticed an increase in my heart rate during the day; I have taken my blood pressure several times and the blood pressure is fine but heart rate is usually over 118 at rest. I have never experienced this at night however.

hello,
I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
your rapid heart rate may be either due to anxiety or you have to rule out hyperfunctioning of thyroid gland. Please get your Thyroid functions (blood) tests done.If they are normal then you should undergo check up for heart problem.
my best wishes
Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
