What Causes Rough Skin On The Eyelids While On Green Coffee Capsules?

I started taking Elite Green Coffee capsules and Garcinia Slim capsules roughly 18 days ago. I have had rough skin on my eye lids, my eyes burn and there are puff red big circles under my eyes. I have scheduled a Dr s appointment for tomorrow. Is there a chance that one or both of these could cause an allergic reaction?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think that is a case of dermatitis around the eyes lids. None of the supplements you started taking have shown any such side effects.

We should rule out other irritants like:
- new cosmetics?
- too often soap?
- any new soap or detergent used recently?
- exposure to any other irritant?

A close evaluation by a dermatologist is required though to rule out possible infection, and proper treatment strategy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
