What Causes Rough Texture To The Inside Of Cheek?

Hi,The inside right cheek of my mouth does not feel smooth as the left cheek, something like a very fine sandpaper feeling. I looked with a flashlight and it looks different than the left side. Gray cast rather than pink like the left side. It is hard to see close because of the limitations of my glasses and the mirror. Do you have any ideas? What kind of doctor would I make an appointment with. Would it be a dentist, GP, or something else?
