What Causes Round Purple Circles On Arm?

Hi, I got a round purple circle ony arm 2 days ago & today I have another one. They are between the size of an eraser & a dime. My brother works at a hospital & asked me if I was on a new medication but I m not. I take a multi vitamin, calcium, vitamin D, C & Biotin. Very strange!!! Any idea as to what they could be caused from??? Thx!!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello, let me tell you that round asymptomatic patches of the darker colour could be an entity known as fixed drug eruption, any of the supplements taken by you could be responsible for the same.
You need to visit a dermatologist for evaluation and identification of the culprit.
Once the culprit is identified and withheld, the lesions will fade with hyperpigmentation.
thanks
