Hello,

To prevent allergic rhinitis you should stay away from pollen, dust, smoke, air pollution, cat saliva, perfumes, cigarette smokes, wood smokes, etc. Dehumidifiers or hepa filters can help. You can take antihistamines - fexofenadine (Allegra) and decongestants (Cetirizine with pseudoephedrine (Zyrtec-D) for relief.

If you have heart disease or history of any illness, you should first discuss it with your local doctor. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT, you may need immuno-therapy, cortico-steroids and long term treatment. Get blood workouts and imaging tests done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
