What Causes Runny Nose And Body Chills Inspite Of Taking Percocet?
Hi, I have been on and off percocet for about a month or two now, I notice I wake up with a runny nose and the chills now and wanna know how to ween myself off. I take around 20 -25 mg a day. And have around 15 pills left, I don t think my doctor will prescribe anymore.. Can he legally cut me off without weening me off? How do I ween myself off?
Percocet is a combination of Oxycodone and acetaminophen used in variety of clinical disorders of pain and related issues. The runny nose and body chills do indicate possible upper respiratory infection most likely viral etiology. My guidelines for the same: - Inhalation of vapors of boiled water added Karvol capsules - Gargles with salted lukewarm water - Avoid exposure to atmospheric cold and pollen - Prescription of antihistamine as cetirizine or fexofenadine, anti-viral as Temiflu or others - Remember out your last date of flu shot and discuss further need of additional dose if it is over a period of 1 year
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
