General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The nosebleeds may be caused by damage of nasal mucosal lining due to allergic reaction or flu he was suffering from.
Taking vitamin C may help protect the mucosal lining.
Also you may need to measure the blood pressure.
Increased blood pressure may give nosebleeds.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
