What Causes Runny Stools In A Child?

Hello Doctor, My daughter is 5 months old. She pass runny stools for the past two days. I consulted doctor yesterday and she is now under 5 days medication of bifilac, taxim-o oral, zinc supplement and use happy nap cream for nappy area rashes. Earlier she will pass stool 2 or 3 times a day and stools look normal.. I feed her breast feeding and farex forumal feeding. She started teething and doctor mentioned this could be mouth way infection. So how many days will it take to be normal. Is this sysmptoms of diarreahoe?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Well if the baby is passing watery stool then obviously diarrhea. Moreover, teething is a major cause of diarrhea in children. And doctor has adviced very good medication. She will get well soon in few days. There is no time limit.
