What Causes Rupturing Cyst On Buttocks Area?
my cyst at the end of my butt crack just ruptured today i have antibiotics for the next 4 days would i be ok to see if it drains fully and heals on its own i heard surgeries are quite painfull and im also in chemo so trying to avoid as much pain as possible

An abscess in the gluteal region can be both painful and dangerous as well .
It has a tendency to easily spread down into the subcutaneous tissue .
It would be good to take the antibiotics as advised by your doctor and then follow up for checkup of the abscess again .
In some cases ,an incision and drainage is necessary .
