What Causes Rushing Sound In Ear Along With Headaches?

I have had this on and off swooshing sound in my right ear that goes with the beat of my heart. Mild headaches to start. Now the swooshing soundis LOUD and the headaches almost feel like full blown migraines. Also I vechecked my blood pressure and its normal, maybe a bnot low for me but not high. Been two weeks, what could it be and is it an emergency?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have rushing sound in ear along with headaches, well the symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as Meniere's disease . Meniere’s disease is a disorder that affects the inner ear. Meniere's disease is the result of the abnormal volume or composition of fluid in the inner ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order tests like audiometry test , electronystagmography test and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP) testing to confirm the diagnosis and rule out condition like acoustic neuroma and otitis media . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , steroids , antiemetic drug and meniett device . Avoid excessive salt intake and caffeine .
