What Causes Sac Of Fluid On Outer Side Of Eyeball?

I have woken up with an ache above my right eyebrow, and have just noticed that I have a sac of clear fluid on the outer side of the eyeball which makes my eye ache when I move my eye, will it clear on its own, or if it bursts, will this damage my eye? I have never had conjunctivitis before but my eyes have been itchy for a few days. Have I scratched the eyeball, and this is the repair?

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

It seems from the history that you are having a sac of fluid on the outer side of the eyeball above right eyebrow. This can be a inflammatory swelling involving the glands of the eyelids.
The treatment is by use of anti-inflammatory drugs and applying hot compression. If it does clear it up it requires incision and drainage.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
