What Causes Scabies Like Itchy Rashes Throughout Body?

HI I have had a very itchy rash that started on my lower right side of my abdomine. It has progressivley moved over my whole body and is very itchy. I went to the ER when I first saw the rash about a quarter size the doctor said it was razor burn. The second time I went to the ER was 2 months later. I told them what I thought I might have which is Scabies but I told them I wasn t sure. The doctor said yes it s scabies without doing anything but look at the rash. I would like to know what I can do because I don t have insurance to go to a real doctor. What do you think it could be?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have scabies like itchy rashes throughout body .The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like allergic reaction ,side effect , dermatitis , sensitivity to sunlight ,eczema and psoriasis , Well scabies is a skin infestation caused by a tiny microscopic bug known as the human itch mite . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Rash and burrows are the main signs that doctors use to determine if you have a scabies infestation. Doctor may take skin sample for lab test , sample is examined under a microscope to confirm the presence of mites or eggs . Doctor may prescribe 5 percent permethian cream , 25 percent benzyl benzoate lotion and percent sulfur ointment . For now apply cold compresses and take benadryl . Keep yourself hydrated and wear loose cloths .
