As per your complain, Scalloped tongue is not a sign of HIV however scalloping of tongue occurs due to pressing of the sides of the tongue against the teeth and is commonly seen in individuals with
Macroglossia that is a large sized tongue..
Other common causes can be tongue swelling,
thyroid disorder, teeth grinding and clenching habit,Megaloblastic
anaemia,
Vitamin B12 and
Iron deficiency,jaw joint disorders etc..
So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get yourself evaluated so that he can first of all evaluate your tongue and check for the size..
In case if your tongue is of normal size then you can be evaluated for other possible causes..
Treatment of the condition is based on treating the underlying cause for the scalloped tongue..
But do not worry about AID as scalloped tongue is not a common sign of HIV/AIDS, so do not worry about it..
