Folliculitis refers to bacterial infection which occurs at the root of hair follicle and will present as small bumps like acne on scalp or other hairy regions. Antibacterial creams should be used regularly. Oral antibiotics are also useful.Do not worry. Folliculits is usually unrelated to antidepressant use. Antibiotics will clear the infection in a few days.
