What Causes Scalp Infection?

my scalp keeps having puss come out of it. i brushed my hair about two hours ago, and then I went to rub my head and felt what seemed to a bunch scabs. I then proceeded to rub the scabs off and now my scalp keeps running pus out of it. I have short (african american male) hair.

How long do you have this problem? Does it spread to any other parts of the body? Does it bleed?

My suggestion is you can take Clindamycin with Hydrocortisone solution as shampoo for about a month and refer to a Dermatologist.
