Hello - I have developed excessive scalp sweating over the past 2 to 3 months - no new meds or changes in diets, etc. I have cardiac issues and peripheral vascular disease, plus a few other minor health issues. I am female, age 75, and in fairly good health considering everything else! Why the scalp sweats day and night?
As per your case history of excessive sweating on scalp, my treatment advice is:
1. Avoid spicy foods and excessive salty diet 2. Apply a topical steroid lotion like beclomethasone lotion twice daily on affected part 3. Take a hydroxyzine tablet once at night
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
