What Causes Scaly Rashes On Skin, Sore Nipples, Lost Appetite And Tiredness?
Hi i have broken out in a rash that has scally feel to it, I have also been having very sore nipples where it hurts to wear a shirt, i have been feeling very tired and sick to my stomach where i have no appetite. Im on birth control but my cycle has been so off. my last cycle started 2 weeks early and lasted around 20 days, can all this be related?
As per my clinical experience, the multiple symptoms of rashes on skin, sore nipples, loss of appetite and tiredness do indicate significant systemic inflammatory response to underlying pathology. The usual cases do refer to bacterial infection most likely.
As per my surgical experience, the 20 days menses of heavy flow do require significant number of need of changes of pads and during which there may be high chances of retained tampon inside the vagina. It is the issue of Toxic shock syndrome which presents in this fashion via response of T cells of the body to retained tampons or pads kept for a long period of time inside body cavity making it prone to harbor staph aureus types bug and produce toxins.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
