What Causes Scanty Bleeding With Fever Post Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi I had unprotected sex July 4th weekend I got my period for 2-3 days July 22nd or 23rd then had light bleeding august 23rd - august 24th then on the 25th of August just a few light spots now watery discharge n I ve been feeling under the weather n body temperature is higher then normal the last couple of days to a week now could this mean pregnancy?

Hi,,

You had unprotected sex on July 4th weekend- had normal bleeding on July 22nd onwards, and again on August 24th onward. As you already had two bleedings after the said sex, pregnancy is not even a remote possibility from that intercourse.

Now you are having fever for last 5-7 days. Since no other associated symptoms mentioned, I can't figure out the cause. The scanty vaginal discharge following last period is unlikely related to fever, and need not be worried about if it is not foul smelling and no associated abdominal pain.

If I were your treating doctor, for an isolated fever of 1 week, I would have ordered a blood routine and urine routine examination after examining you, and will proceed accordingly. Your doctor will guide you.

Meanwhile ate paracetamol for fever, take some bed rest, drink enough fluids and have a soft diet.
